Gisssy - The Super Bank

We hit the road yesterday for a few days off and hit the jackpot in Gisborne. The bank is probably the best its been all winter and super hollow and shallow and super fun. Even managed to rope the girlfriend into taking some photos of me ( which is becoming more difficult as I'm no pro!!)



A couple of the old dogs were all over it, dominating the peak for hours. Definitely a little harder to get in there compared to Matakana but good to be out in it still. At least all the groms were not all over it being at the Gromfest around the headland at Makorori (they were kept quiet and out of sight frothing on the beach peaky hollow 3 ft surf there).
